So you're looking into possibly having a boudoir session with me? That's amazing! I'm so excited to see you taking that leap into stepping out of your comfort zone!
One of the most important things about having a boudoir session is being comfortable with the photographer. You want to make sure you vibe with them and feel comfortable with them before even meeting in person. The internet can be a scary place; even I personally wouldn't EVER book with a photographer without at least speaking to them first! That's why I make phone consults mandatory for ALL inquiries.
So to help with breaking the ice and getting to know me a little better before even sending your inquiry, here are 5 Fun Facts about me!
I have been a photographer for 10 years. I fell into boudoir after a friend's husband asked me to have a session with his beautiful wife to help regain some of her confidence after having twins a year or so before. I KNEW immediately after that session that I wanted to continue to empower women of all body types and insecurities. Building that confidence is my main goal as your boudoir photographer.
I absolutely LOVE wine and coffee! I used to hate both (which is crazy to think about now!) but I have grown to love them both. My favourite red wine is the Baco Noir from Konzelmann Estate Winery in Niagara Falls and I am OBSESSED with all the Lola wines from Pelee Island Winery, especially the sparkling Rosé! If you haven't tried them and you love wine, I highly recommend them!
I LOVE music! I always have music playing during your session to get the vibes flowing and dance party started. There's nothing more relaxing and confidence boosting then letting loose, shaking those nerves out and just having fun!
I am also an avid true crime lover. I am obsessed with the "My Favorite Murder" podcast and learning about all the serial killers throughout the years. I also wanted to be a forensic photographer when I was going through school. In fact, I have a photography diploma and a police foundations diploma from Algonquin College because of this. More on that can be found in the about me section on my website.
I am a COVID bride. My wedding got postponed to next October but my amazing husband-to-be and I will be eloping this October on our original date! I am living proof that a pandemic cannot stop love. I encourage everyone to live their best life even if that means pivoting a little.
So there you have it! That's just a little about me. I'm an open book so if there is anything else you want to know about me, please feel free to ask!
Ready to take that leap? Send your inquiry here!
