I am plus size, always covering up, and never allowing myself to love the way I look. I've been that person for so much of my life. But there is nothing that prepares for for the incredible ride of boudoir. I booked my shoot with less than 2 months which was just enough time to prepare myself. I remember thinking "Leesa is crazy!" Like, there's no way this could ever be me in these photos. I booked and was still convinced I wasn't going to go. But, if I was going to spend the money, then I had better show up! And, let me tell you - I'm SO glad I did! I got to see myself in a light that I never have before! I LOVED it! I was worried about my weight gain but from the moment I first chatted with Leesa on the phone, I knew we would be on the same page because she made me feel comfortable. Leesa made me feel so comfortable! And the fact that she shows the poses and where to look/what to do with your face so there’s really nothing to worry about. Plus she was my ultimate hype girl and had the BEST energy. Do it not just for your partner but for your self love/self care. Becoming a widow at 52 made me decide to do more things for me and spoil myself. I didn't expect how hard it was to hold some poses and how little flexibility I have in my back, but Leesa is so encouraging and positive that she will make you feel confident and beautiful.
Doing my session was such a confidence boost! Leesa was so positive and made me feel comfortable. Leesa brightens the mood of the session. She makes you feel very comfortable, there’s no judgement what so ever, you can be your total self without even overthinking it which is big for someone who has self-doubt, anxiety. The team reminds you how beautiful you are, they hype you up, they make you smile, they are super sweet and you realize you have nothing to be nervous about, that you shouldn’t worry about how you will look in your pictures because you’re beautiful no matter what!
