What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Love + Wanderlust Boudoir?
Exactly what it is! I already knew about boudoir and knew it was something i definitely wanted to do one day!
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
I was nervous about how my body would look, and if i could feel confident on the day of.
What made you decided to take the leap of faith and do a boudoir session?
Leesa gives off really positive energy. From talking to her and her captions on Instagram photos, I knew she'd be the right fit to do photos with!
How did you feel before your session?
Nervous and so excited!
How did the session day make you feel?
I felt great! Everyone was upbeat and super excited. I felt confident and ready!
Was the session different from what you expected it to be?
I would say it was even better. I had a lot of fun.
Did anything surprise you?
Nothing except for how good the photos turned out when I saw them.
What would your advice be to other women who haven't booked a boudoir session?
My advice would be to find a photographer who will make you feel completely comfortable, otherwise it really won't be a great experience.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty / sexuality / sensuality / body confidence as a result of this session?
Yes, my confidence for sure! I still am super happy knowing I finally did a boudoir shoot and I'll always see the photos and know how much of a good time i had!
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Love + Wanderlust Boudoir?
As stated, Leesa truly is awesome to work with. So are the hair stylist and make up artist. All around good vibes and no doubt that anyone would leave the studio feeling happy, pleased, and wanting to do a session again!
What would you say to people who say they can't do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
Boudoir sessions are for yourself at the end of the day. They are confidence boosters, they are feel good moments, and the photos are something you keep for yourself, like a secret only you know. A good photographer will ease all of your worries, and it'll be a better time than anyone expects!
